Comewire IT recently partnered with TESS Search Partners to appoint Barbara Rottenberg as People and Culture Leader.
The role required an experienced People & Culture professional to partner with leaders across the business, build leadership capability and support a high-performing and accountable culture. The position covered employee relations, performance management, learning and development, workforce planning, talent acquisition and continuous improvement across the broader P&C function.
The search focused on senior HR professionals with broad generalist experience and the ability to balance strategic people initiatives with practical day-to-day support. Equally important was strong workplace relations knowledge, leadership coaching experience and the ability to improve people processes and systems as the organisation continues to grow.
With more than 17 years’ experience across People & Culture and HR, Barbara was well aligned to the role. Her career spans defence, manufacturing, logistics, construction, telecommunications and oil and gas, with experience across organisational development, workforce planning, ER/IR, leadership development and culture. Most recently, she worked as National Group HR/WHS Manager with Haneco Business Group, following almost two years as HR Business Partner with Saab Australia. Her experience developing leadership capability, improving HR governance and partnering with senior leaders aligned strongly with Comewire IT’s requirements.
This appointment reflects Comewire IT’s continued focus on its people and culture, and TESS Search Partners’ ability to identify experienced People & Culture professionals who align with both the role and the organisation.
