TESS Search Partners partnered with DICE Pty Ltd, an Indigenous-owned construction and electrical business based in Darwin, to appoint a Bid Coordinator to strengthen their tender capability and internal governance processes.
As a new client, it was essential that we took the time to understand not only the technical requirements of the role but also DICE’s culture, community commitment and growth strategy across Government and Defence projects. The position required ownership of the full tender lifecycle, strong written capability aligned to evaluation criteria, structured document control, and the ability to coordinate multiple internal stakeholders while maintaining compliance with quality and governance standards.
Without executing an extensive campaign, we met with the General Manager, Lindsay O’Dea, who spent time with us to share their trajectory and the efforts invested in creating an Employer of Choice in a very competitive industry. Once, we understood the brief, we shared the profile of Susan Danford whom we have maintained a relationship with and there was an immediate connection.
Susan’s background in consultancy environments, strong stakeholder engagement capability and proficiency in tools such as Adobe InDesign enabled her to deliver well-structured, compliant and professionally presented submissions. Importantly, Suse demonstrated strong alignment with DICE’s values, including cultural awareness, community engagement and a commitment to positive organisational culture.
Susan stepped into the role with immediate impact, bringing structure to bid processes and strengthening internal governance, while establishing the foundation for a strong and ongoing partnership between DICE and TESS Search Partners.
