DryFlow Magnetics recently partnered with TESS Search Partners to appoint Peter Jaensch as Senior Project Engineer.
The role required an experienced project engineer to lead the design, fabrication, testing and deployment of pilot and commercial-scale equipment. Beyond technical capability, DryFlow required an engineering leader with strong project delivery experience across mining or heavy industrial environments, together with expertise in commissioning, fabrication, multidisciplinary engineering and plant implementation.
The search focused on senior engineers with a proven track record delivering complex engineering projects from concept through to operational deployment. Equally important was the ability to work across design, workshop and site environments while collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and customers in a fast-paced technology scale-up.
With more than 20 years experience in mining technology, heavy industrial engineering and complex machinery design, Peter was well aligned to the role. His background spans Boart Longyear, Steriline Racing and Research Laboratories of Australia, with extensive experience in prototype development, commissioning, fabrication oversight and multidisciplinary project delivery. A career highlight included leading the development of an $8 million surface drill rig program, delivered one week ahead of schedule, while also leading the deployment of new technologies through the Deep Exploration Technology CRC. His practical engineering approach, mining industry experience and delivery capability aligned strongly with DryFlow Magnetics’ growth plans.
This appointment strengthens DryFlow Magnetics’ engineering capability and reflects TESS Search Partners’ ability to identify and secure experienced engineering leaders for critical appointments across the mining technology and advanced manufacturing sectors.
